You won’t see something banal in art of Vladimir Antoshenkov. Intuitive sense of perception, bestowed upon him by nature, helps to experience true joy from the ordinary everyday objects. He is in constant search of beauty. He published twelve albums (and it’s great job!), forming a unique visual encyclopedia of St. Petersburg. Exhibition “Children in the City” complements the albums. The author’s attention to the world of children is justified. World of children is so special. People are already so busy, so they rarely are able to see real life and real things around themselves. Children are creative and adventurous. They cleverly use the elements of the urban environment that meets their interests. The places where they play games are often very photogenic, that’s evidenced by the pictures of the exhibition.
